Partners in Wellbeing offers free, practical support through Mental Health and Wellbeing Hubs and Locals. There’s no wrong door – we’ll help you find the right service for your needs.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals

Local Services provide free, individualised support for adults aged 26+, including families, carers and supporters.

Services include: 

  • treatment and therapies
  • wellbeing supports tailored to individual needs
  • education, peer support and self-help options
  • consumer-led care planning and coordination with other services
  • social and community connections.

How we deliver support: Face-to-face, telehealth, mobile outreach, one-on-one and group sessions.

Cost: Free and confidential, no GP referral, Medicare card or visa required.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Hubs

Hubs have provided immediate walk-in or short-term wellbeing support for people of all ages, including families, carers and supporters.

Hubs offer:

  • emotional and practical support during times of stress
  • assistance with social isolation, financial pressures or housing concerns
  • connections to local community networks and services to strengthen recovery
  • support for families, carers and supporters to manage challenging situations.

Transition: Most Hubs will close on 30 June 2026, except for five sites (Ballarat, Cowes, Horsham, Omeo, Warrnambool) that will continue to provide immediate support while Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals expand to cover local needs.

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral from a GP or health professional to access support through a Mental Health and Wellbeing Hubs and Locals.

Simply call 1300 375 330, start a live chat or drop by one of our walk-in services to discuss your needs.

Refer yourself or a loved on

If you’d like to refer someone you know, please speak with them first and ensure you have their consent before making a referral on their behalf.

We welcome referrals for people from all backgrounds, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, people from culturally diverse communities, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
